Consuelo C. Casula Psychologist and psychotherapist with a private practice in Milan, a graduate in Philosophy, specialized in Psychology, NLP Trainer, I have used hypnosis in my practice since 1993. I teach hypnosis at the Scuola Italiana di Ipnosi e Psicoterapia Ericksoniana and other Italian schools of psychotherapy. I am the Past-President of the European Society of Hypnosis and BOD member of ESH editing the newsletter of the society. I long time served as BOD member of ISH, where I was Secretary/Treasurer in 2009-2012. I travel nationally and internationally to lecture and give workshops at ESH, ISH, Milton Erickson Foundation congresses, in Europe, USA, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, and China. I was invited to be speaker at the 10th (2007), and 11th (2011) and 12th (2015) International Congress on Ericksonian Approaches to Hypnosis and Psychotherapy and at ASCH 50th Annual Scientific Meeting and Workshop (2008). In my practice I integrate hypnotherapy with pragmatic, systemic and strategic approaches, with positive psychology and mindfulness. I have published several articles and eight books on communication skills, leading groups, metaphors, women’s development, resilience and hypnotic strategies combined with Footprintings and Mindfulness. The book on metaphors has been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French and German; the one on resilience into French. In 2016 I have received the IV International Award “Franco Granone” from the Franco Granone Centro Italiano Ipnosi Clinica e Sperimentale.
