Andreas Steiner was born in Cologne in 1964. He studied psychology (diploma) and music, and theater, film and television studies (M.A.). Already as a student he won several awards as an illustrator and caricaturist. After his studies he became a psychotherapist and runs his own practice in Cologne, as well as his own training institute for psychotherapists. He trains therapists professionally in his special fields of clinical hypnosis and systemic therapy. He devotes special attention to political psychology, especially the psychodynamics of National Socialism and the genesis of the pathological personalities of the Third Reich. Andreas Steiner has appeared in several television documentaries as a scientific expert.
