Elfie Cronauer, Dipl.-Psych., Mönchengladbach, Germany is working in her own practice in Mönchengladbach as a psychodynamically oriented therapist for adults. She received education in various fields of psychotherapy predominately in Rogerian Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, PITT (Reddemann), EMDR , Ego-State-Therapy, Focusing, the Structural Dissociation Model (Nijenhuis). She is EMDR consultant and certified as a specialist in Trauma Therapy (DeGPT).

Elfie Cronauer has presented at national and international conferences and lectures at various institutes on Ego-State-Therapy, EMDR, Trauma, and Clinical Hypnosis. Resource activation and Ego-Strengthening are the frame of her work, in which she combines Ego-State-Therapy and EMDR, to improve the treatment of traumatic stress, of physical pain or other strange bodily sensations.

Elfie Cronauer is member of the „Deutschsprachige Gesellschaft für Psychotraumatologie (DeGPT)“, „EMDRIA e.V.“, „Milton-Erickson Society (MEG)“ Germany and „ISH“. She is teaching Ego-State-Therapy and works as a supervisor. She is cofounder of the German Working Group for Ego State Therapy (EST-DE) and leads, together with Susanne Leutner, the Ego-State- Therapy Institute Rhineland (EST-Rheinland) in Bonn, Germany
