Privatdozent Dr. med. Sebastian Schulz-Stübner is board certified in anesthesia, critical care, emergency and pain medicine, psychotherapy and a board certified hospital epidemiologist and infection control expert. He works as chief physician at the German consulting center for hospital epidemiology and infection control (BZH) in Freiburg, Germany while still practicing emergency medicine (esp. mobile ambulance service) and pain medicine/psychotherapy in various settings and teaching medical hypnosis in anesthesiology. He is an accomplished researcher in the field of regional anesthesia, pain medicine and medical hypnosis and has written several textbooks related to critical care, regional anesthesia, pain medicine, medical hypnosis and infection control. Dr. Schulz-Stübner is solicited as lecturer worldwide. In his spare time he writes short stories and fosters young artists in his function as chairmen of the Schulz-Stübner-Foundation “Life with paintings”.
