WANG Ting Phd. is an associate professor in the Mental Health of Nanjing university of Chinese Medicine and a licensed psychological counselor of Chinese Psychological Society（NO.：X-16-065）.

He got his bachelor degree in preventive medicine from the department of preventive medicine, Xi’an medical university in 1999, master degree in Social medicine and health management from school of humanities, Xi’an Jiaotong university in 2002, and PhD in TCM history and classics from the school of basic medicine, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 2014. He has published 13 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

He is a member of several professional societies, including the International Society of Hypnosis, Chinese Psychological Society, Chinese Mental Health Association, and he is the general secretary of Chinese Erickson Institute.

His major research interests include: a) Clinical hypnosis; b) hypnosis’s implications in mental health and psychosomatic problems.

As a clinician, he received training mainly in Behavior Therapy & Ericksonian hypnotherapy & psychodynamic therapy. He now practices psychological counseling in individual, couple and group settings.
